Dissapointed! - This tour was way too fast paced. They picked us on time and crammed is in an uncomfortable small bus- no overhead compartment to put our backpacks and we asked... read more at least 3/4 times to put up the ac because it was too hot. They took us to 3 places were demonstrations were given on- processing alpaca threads, Maras salt and recognizing quality silver, giving us plenty of time afterwards so that we bought what was there. We would have appreciated more to spend more time in places like Chincheros and Pisaq. Afterwards, they took us to El Maizal Rest, which was overcrowded. Some of us didn’t get to eat dessert or salads because we had spent too much time on line. The tour guide apologized. In Ollantaytambo, the pace of the tour was so fast that we turned back because we couldn’t keep the pace. The guide didn’t notice or cared. When we got to Pisaq at 5:00pm, the employees didn’t allow us to go beyond a certain point because the place was closing at 5:30 and everyone had to be out by then. So we saw the cemetery from a distance and then rushed back to be dropped off close to Plaza de Armas.
The tour company and guide do this everyday but for us, it is a once in a lifetime experience that we want to appreciate and cherish. Do this tour if you want a fast passed touristy tour that rushes through the places. Otherwise, split Sacred Valley in two days so you have a more enjoyable experience.

Hilda was very nice and friendly and was always around to help us.
The sacred valley is a must see tour. Jonathan was our guide, and went above and beyond delivering historical information and interesting factoids about all of the sites. He anticipated... read more any delays (some people did not buy tickets prior to the tour) and got their site tickets in advance while they were exploring something else. As other reviewers have said, there are some stops where there is somewhat of a sales pitch while receiving an explanation of how goods are made. However, there is no expectation to make a purchase and prices weren't bad anyway. I recommend this tour to anyone.
Amazing tour - This tour was absolutely amazing, you get to visit a lot of places, it was a long day but absolutely worth it. Our tour guide Emil was very knowledgeable and... read more gave us a lot of valuable information about the incas and all the places we visited. I highly recommend this tour
